The Tooth

So the events last week were unexpected to say the least...Ellie slipped and hit her mouth on the bottom step of our wooden stairs...and lost her front tooth. Ahhhhh!!! Seriously, it was not a pretty scene and I was not a hold-it-together mom. I cried longer than she did. But, I'm getting used to her new beautiful smile and will be headed to the pediatric dentist later this month to talk about what this means for future teeth issues. In all honestly, she is a giggly, happy-go-lucky, climb on anything kinda gal, so this new "look"may fit her little "watch me or I'm going to get into everything" personality. Sweet Ellie, we love you just the way you are!!
