I know what your thinking...Minnesota in February...Yup, you heard right. I had the chance to take the kids and go with my parents to surprise my sister and her family (she knew that my parents were coming but not the rest of us). When her 4 yr old heard the doorbell and looked out the window, he just yelled, "Mom, Owen's here." She was a little confused and then of course, way excited. Now we come to the un-fun part: 12 hours up and 12 hours back. We also had leave a day early because of snow storms, but the funness of being there made up for any length of drive. Also, the kids were ama-za-zing on the drive up and down!

I like this pic because you can see how deep the snow was compared the Ellie. Also, my mom is in the window looking out. She felt she could enjoy the fun from the inside looking out. :)
The kids also went down the slide into the snow. Yippee!
