The big camping birthday party arrived. Owen's been asking for weeks if today's the day. We set up a tent in our living room.

Ok, I'm just a little bit proud off my "camping" b-day cake. It was fun to make and O helped me with some of the details...tent color, how many fish in the pond, where the candle should go...I love how excited he gets about everything.

I'm just like every other parent who thinks, "My kids are growing up so fast!" 4...I have a 4 yr old. Wow. Owen--We are blessed to be your parents. You are a smart, funny, creative, caring child of God. I look forward to seeing what this year brings for you and watching you grow. We love you!
Mimi and Poppy were the first to arrive. "My guests are arriving!!!" yelled Owen when he heard them knock.

Loved looking at the pictures on your blog...fun family times. I think camping birthdays are a fun thing. Check out Kirsten's (my daughter-in-law) blog and what the boys planned for her birthday! Such memories and special times for you all.
