We left at 3:30 a.m. and hadn't even made it to the end of our street before Owen asked if we were in Alabama yet. We gently broke it to him that, no, we weren't. But 10 hours later, "Hello Clear Point, Alabama!" Ellie was probably the most excited to be free of the car seat.
