July 4th

We had both Justin's side of the family and my parents over for the 4th. Played a little backyard wiffleball and threw pops on our patio. Watched the fireworks from the parking lot next to our house (another plus of the location of our house!).

We got to hang out one evening recently at our friend's tree farm.

Chattanooga, TN

Apparently, Chattanooga is all about water fountains, and so Owen was of course all about getting in the water fountains.

We got to experience the smallest zoo ever...although it was more like going to somebody's backyard who happened to raise some exotic animals...No elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras, tigers, bears, seals. Should I go on?

We caught a minor league baseball game.

It was a really nice weekend getaway before Baby #2's upcoming arrival in June. We would recommend ol' Chattanooga to anyone. We asked Owen on the way home what his favorite thing was and he said, "The elevator." He's easy to please, what can we say.
